DESCRIPTION: We all work in the same area. Jenna works for University College at IUPUC and Angie works for Admissions at IUPUC. Julia works in Student Services for Purdue College of Technology. Jenna and Julia also attend Asbury United Methodist Church. We want to use our creative juices together and win this Race! Mark our words! Go Team Sharpie!

TEAM NAME: The Sizzle
TEAM MEMBERS: Jenny Spindler, Amanda Klei, Rachel Shelton, Kristen Pearson
DESCRIPTION: We are four independent, professional women who love our jobs, are friends, and have a great time together! We value the diversity of our personalities and this is what makes our friendship work. When we are together, we let loose and have a great time. The hours just slip away with laughter as we all try to get a word in! Amanda reads people well and can make friends with anyone instantly. She is an Executive Manager at Garland Brook Cemetery. Amanda and her husband, Steve have two children Mason and Lilah. Rachel is wild and crazy, fun to be around, and can make a person feel right at home. She is the Manager at Personal Finance Company. Rachel and her husband, Zac, are new parents of a daughter, Zayda. Kristen is honest, loves to talk and can really tell it like it is! She is a Styling Specialist at La Mode 607 and enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Larry and their daughter, Kamryn. Jenny loves to talk, fun to be around and is very giving. She is a Quality Manager of Engineering at Cummins Fuel Systems. Jenny has been married to her husband, Tim, for almost two years.

DESCRIPTION: Heather and Robert are married and relocated to Columbus 4 years ago for their jobs. Ann and Andy have been dating for about 1 year. Ann attends IUPUC and Andy works at Cummins. Heather, Robert and Ann all work for National Car Rental.

DESCRIPTION: Jessica has worked at SIHO for over a year. She participated in the Amazing Race last year. Lindsay lives in Seymour and has worked at JCB for a year. She worked in Columbus for several years at Patti's Hallmark in Westhill. We played coed softball together in Columbus. Jessica is married to Cody and has two dogs: Daisy and Alfie. Lindsay has a crazy cat Murphy.

DESCRIPTION: Brittany Strahl, Brittany Gray, and Sara Beth all work for QMIX! We have become great friends once becoming a part of the QMIX family. We have a lot in common- we're energetic, creative, outgoing,and we have a shoe fetish! (what more could ya want!) We are all compiled with many great secretive talents and abilities that many wouldn't realize about us. We're looking forward to our FIRST year at The Amazing Race!

DESCRIPTION: The two of us work together at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation. As a physical therapist and speech therapist, we intend on approaching each challenge with mighty conviction, intrepid minds, spry agility, and herculean strength. We have completed many challenges together throughout our friendship, which have prepared us to dominate in the events ahead. We look forward to sizing up our competition and meeting our contenders in the obstacles ahead.

TEAM NAME: Team Abner
TEAM MEMBERS: Regina Abner, James Abner
DESCRIPTION: We are the dynamic duo, so dynamic in fact, that we're married. We met several years ago in college and have been inseparable ever since. We share many of the same interests including hot peppers, video games, and our love of the outdoors. We made Columbus our home in 2004 and plan to stay here for quite awhile. James is a banker by day and one mean hot sauce pounding biker by night. Gina works with people in the engineering industry, but love anything to do with computer graphic design or the traditional arts. We've scoured several regions of Indiana while geocaching and are looking for a new challenge, so watch out Columbus!

DESCRIPTION: All members of our team moved to Columbus within the last year. We all met at a CYP Meet, Greet, and Eat event and formed our team. We got our team name (Cummins+1) because three people from our team work at Cummins and one does not. We are all excited to participate in the Amazing Race, get to know the city of Columbus better, and meet other people!

TEAM MEMBERS: Matt Roberts, Emily Roberts
DESCRIPTION: Matt and his wife Emily have been married for 9 years and have lived in the Columbus area for 8 of those 9 years. They enjoy spending time with their two sons who are 2 and 3 years old. Matt is a 7th grade math teacher and coaches basketball and track at Northside Middle School. Emily is a stay at home mom as well as a Tupperware consultant.

DESCRIPTION: Known as JC TANdem of last year's CYP Amazing Race, the Return of the Tri-TANs is a team now composed of....you guessed it... 3 people!! Having enjoyed the Race so much last lear, with Jonathan just freshly starting with his job as a Medical technologist at Columbus Regional Hospital and Cimily being pregnant with little Iynigo, the TANdem decided to make a come-back with a new fierce teammate! Previously just 2... now 3... the Return of the Tri-TANs is back... bigger and stronger!!!

DESCRIPTION: We are Mother and Daughter by fate and friends by choice! We are looking forward to this extraordinary experience and plan to have lots of fun making memories together and doing lots of networking! Casey "the Daughter" is married to Todd Boilanger, Commercial Realtor at Breeden Commercial. Casey makes some of the most delicious cookies you have ever tasted and she is working on plans to start a Bakery one day. Vicki "the Mom" is in Business Development at Manpower and a Realtor along with her husband Rick, "Team Gardner" at Century 21 Breeden. Rick and Vicki also have a son Sam who is a senior at North. This Mother & Daughter Dream Team are "IN IT TO WIN IT" :-)

TEAM NAME: Dizzy and the Foreigners
TEAM MEMBERS: Craig Dismore, Amy Reese, Ingrid Jung, Michael Spencer
DESCRIPTION: Our team consists of 4 unique individuals .... One Mr. Michael Spencer was a Math teacher in Mexico in a former life. Ingrid grew up speaking Deutsch, as her father taught local high schoolers. Amy grew up in Texas, which used to be it's own country. Then there is Craig, who was born and raised in Columbus, IN. This unlikely pairing of individuals are united by their differences.

TEAM MEMBERS: Greg Buikema, Emilie Pannell, Clint Schroer, Raeleigh Stark
DESCRIPTION: Well three out of the four of are brand spanking new to C-bus. Clint is the only one that is a native to this beautiful town. Emilie and Greg made a connection after finding out that they both went to the University of Illinois. Emilie and Raeleigh are friendly co-workers at City Hall and Greg and Clint both inhabit the COB. Together they are a force to reckon with. HEY YO!!!

TEAM NAME: Husbands and Wife
TEAM MEMBERS: Nathan Frasier, Sarah Frasier, Keven Young-bey
DESCRIPTION: Nathan and Sarah are recently married, but have been together since their time at Columbus North High School. Nathan is a chiropractor in Columbus and Sarah teaches second grade at Richards Elementary. As for Kevin, our team name originates from him being over at our house all the time. Sarah just got to the point of asking if "Husband #2" was coming over. To me, Sarah seems like a very lucky girl to have such a great duo of husbands.

TEAM NAME: Newshounds
TEAM MEMBERS: Kelsey VanArsdall, Paige Harden
DESCRIPTION: People often confuse Paige and Kelsey for each other because both of the young, short, blond journalists work for the Republic newspaper. Paige is the features editor and star of Project Paige and Kelsey is the editor of She magazine. When they're not on the trail of a hot story, Paige enjoys playing with her two cocker spaniels Jackson and Katie and Kelsey enjoys playing with her two Boston terriers Max and Lou. Paige and Kelsey met four years ago at the Republic although both graduated from Columbus high schools (Paige, East and Kelsey, North) in 2000. Paige's favorite actor is Will Ferrell and she is currently counting down the days 'til the arrival of her first niece or nephew. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys waiting tables at Tre Bicchieri Italian restaurant and riding her light blue scooter -- the Buddy.

TEAM MEMBERS: Carl Chandler, Barbara Chandler, Dave Warf
DESCRIPTION: Carl and Dave work together at Toyota, but initially met at their first job in high school as bus boys. Barbara is from Slovenia (that is in Europe next to Italy). She and Carl met when Carl was stationed Italy from 2000-2004 and were married in 2006. Dave grew up in Columbus, and went to IU. Carl was born in Columbus, but never grew up. He now attends Purdue Columbus. Barbara grew up in Ljubljana, Slovenia. All of us love RED BULL

TEAM MEMBERS: Brian Turner, Colorado Wagner
DESCRIPTION: Team Name: COORS (COlumbus Optimum Race Specialist) Enthusiast Brief Description: We both are highly trained racing machines that shouldn't be taken lightly. Colorado is the 'Real Deal' that will lead this team to the promise land. She is a Realtor with Century 21 Breeden Realtors and is happily married to Ben Wagner. We aren't quite sure what Brian will bring to the this dynamic duo, but he is always full of surprises! He is an IT Project Manager at Cummins, Inc. Our primary goal is to assure we dominate the Mother & Daughter Green Team. Let the games begin!

TEAM NAME: The Local Drafts
TEAM MEMBERS: Eric Riddle, Ben Stilson, Patrick Fosdick, Jon Myers
DESCRIPTION: Ladies and Gentleman, We have arrived.  We would like to introduce ourselves.  First, Mr. Patrick Fosdick is a recent Purdue graduate who moved to Columbus in June 2006.  Patrick currently works at Cummins.  Second, Mr. Jon Myers is from Columbus, a Ball State graduate, and the husband of the beautiful Robin.  Jon is also the keeper of the beer.  Third, Mr. Eric Riddle is the proud father of Isaac and Nela.  He works for Columbus Regional Hosptial and enjoys lending a hand in flood relief.  Fourth, Mr. Ben Stilson works for Hanover College and is a proud father of a 2 year old son, Cavan. When asked how we know each other at the Amazing Race kick-off, Ben stated, "We are just four guys who have an affinity for fine (local) brews."
