Kelly Baker Kelly Baker, President is Assistant Director of Admissions for Ivy Tech Community College at the Columbus campus. Kelly earned her BA in Telecommunications and Spanish from Indiana University Bloomington in 2005, and has previously worked in the staffing and executive recruiting industries . She serves on the CYP Board of Advisors, and is involved with a variety of projects aimed at increasing and enhancing education opportunities for Latinos. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and beautiful daughter, watching movies, and being anywhere with friends. She loves country music, and wishes she had more time to spend in the kitchen trying out new recipes. kelly@columbusyp.org
   
Andrew Kirk, Vice President is a Manager, Product Development and Marketing for SIHO Insurance Services, a health benefits provider headquartered in Columbus. His role involves project management of new product development; in addition, he serves as the Social Media Coordinator. Originally from Indianapolis, Andrew graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University with a degree in Economics and minor in Biology. He volunteers with Healthy Communities Initiative and also serves on the Planning Committee for the annual charity event for kidscommons, the local children's museum. missi Dr. Melissa Webb, Treasurer is a 2005 graduate of the Indiana University School of Optometry. She enjoys seeing patients each day at Woodruff and Webb Optometry. She is a Columbus native and enjoys being active in the community that she grew up in. In her free time she enjoys traveling to anywhere her husband will travel, watching movies so that she can eat movie popcorn, fishing, and biking. brooke Brooke Hawkins, Secretary is a proud resident of Columbus, Indiana and has grown to appreciate her fair city, in all its modern beauty, through her work as a designer at Louis Joyner, Architect. She is involved in her community through volunteering as Columbus Young Professionals' Secretary as well as with Family Service, Columbus Area Arts Council and kidscommons. Brooke gave up on an impressive jump-roping career after breaking a world record, and now resides near downtown, a modest twenty-minute drive from where she grew up in Hartsville. A real fan of technology, Brooke regularly uses her computer while connected to the World Wide Web. kristin Kristin Munn is Workplace Initiatives Lead for Healthy Communities. Kristin earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University. In addition to serving on the CYP Board of Advisers, Kristin is a volunteer with Advocates for Children. Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband and rambunctious 5 year old daughter. arthur Arthur Smith is a graphic designer for The Republic. He is a native of Bartholomew County, but has only recently returned to Columbus. After graduating with a degree in photojournalism from Indiana University, Arthur moved to Boston, MA, where he worked in book publishing. In addition to volunteering as the Chair of the CYP Marketing Committee, Arthur is a Tour Guide for the Columbus Visitors Center and serves on the Columbus Branding Committee. In another life he would be a film director, chef, or lottery winner. Although he misses living near the beach, he's glad to be back in Columbus. arthur@columbusyp.org
   
todd Todd M. Boilanger is an insurance salesman for Richard Hawes Insurance. Todd earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University. Todd has served as the Treasurer and President of CYP. Before that Todd has spent time living in Arkansas, California, and Colorado before deciding on Columbus, IN. In Todd's free time he enjoys boating and water sports at his house, spending time with friends, traveling, going to the gym and watching college football. val Valerie Chowning, Chamber Liaison is the Membership Director of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce. Valerie earned her B.S. in Government at New Mexico Sate University and earned her M.A. in Business Administration from Strayer University. Valerie serves as the Treasurer of the Columbus Young Professionals, and President of the Columbus Area Arts Council. In her spare time, Valerie enjoys boating on the Ohio River, spending time with friends and family, playing with her three dogs, restoring her 68 Mustang, and is a huge Jimmy Buffet Fan.valerie@columbusyp.org

CYP Wisdom Council The following community leaders serve on our Wisdom Council. CYP is a better organization thanks to their support and advice.

Tracy Souza has been with Cummins Inc for 29 years. She is currently the Executive Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and President of The Cummins Foundation. Souza also has the primary responsibility for community relations in Cummins headquarter community of Columbus, Indiana. She serves on the Boards of the Columbus Regional Hospital and the Community Education Coalition and is Chair of the Economic Development Board. As a former director of the Heritage Fund the Community Foundation of Bartholomew County, she led the Welcoming Community Project to focus community efforts on building an inclusive community. She currently serves as a member of the Vision 20/20 Downtown Revitalization Leadership group and chairs the sports committee. In spite of all of these commitments, she is worried about how she will fill her evenings and weekends once all her kids graduate from high school and there are no more soccer or basketball games to attend. Souza hold a BA degree from Indiana University in Religious Studies. She is Devoted to a daily yoga practice which her kids describe as "competitive yoga." Her Hobbies include yoga and strength training, reading, collecting folk art, travel and spending time with her husband Matt and their four very active and entertaining children. Despite marrying into a bilingual family, she just started taking Spanish lessons this year.

   
Jack Hess graduated cum laude from Ball State University with a degree in the award-winning Entrepreneurship and Small Business Administration Program. He is currently President of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce where he has perfected his skills on wii tennis, and rock band. Within two years of buying a wii for the Chamber, (and implementing a new strategic plan) the Columbus Chamber was named the Indiana Chamber of the Year in 2008, and one year later, the 2009 National Chamber of the Year Award. The award recognizes excellence in operations, member services, and community leadership. While at the Chamber, he co-authored a collaborative concept paper which proposed to build upon Southeastern Indiana's economic strengths. The initiative, called Economic Opportunities 2015 (EcO15), connects residents within ten counties to better economic opportunities through education. The project was awarded a $38 million grant from Lilly Endowment, Inc. and has become a unique model concerning how regions educate their citizens to drive the productivity and competitiveness of their regional economies.Jack is an associate professor teaching entrepreneurship for the Indiana University MBA program. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Columbus Area Economic Growth Council, the Columbus Area Visitors Center, the Columbus Economic Development Board, the Community Education Coalition and the Heritage Fund.
   

Beth Morris is the Director of Community Health Partnerships at Columbus Regional Hospital, where she oversees the Healthy Communities Initiative (HCI), a broad-based community initiative founded in 1993. HCI works with community partners on targeted, measurable health issues and has experienced great success in the areas of increasing access to healthcare, promoting healthy lifestyles, and promoting healthy relationships. A doctoral candidate in social work at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, Morris holds a master's degree in social work and a bachelor's degree in psychology both from Indiana University. Morris sits on the board of directors of the WindRose Health clinic and Volunteers in Medicine clinic, is a member of the Healthy Communities Council and Domestic Violence Leadership Team and is a tireless community leader and volunteer. An avid bicyclist, Morris commutes over 1000 miles each year. She enjoys reading, walking, working in her vegetable garden, and has been known to get out of bed at half past three in the morning to view Grand Slam Tennis tournaments.

   
Dominic Glover was born June 25, 1971 in Bloomington, Indiana and was raised in Columbus, Indiana. He is married to the former Kathryn Budd. They make their home in Columbus with their two dogs Lilly and Fiona. He has practiced law in Columbus, Indiana since 1997. He practices primarily in the areas of Domestic Relations, Criminal Defense and Litigation. He graduated from Wabash College in 1993, having studied History and Political Science and Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington in 1997. He is a member of Columbus Noon Rotary, having previously served on its board. He has served as a board member for Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and the Columbus Museum of Art and Design. He is on the Heritage Fund of Bartholomew County's Outreach Committee, and he has been appointed by local judges to the Community Corrections Board as well as the 'What Works' Board working to utilize evidence-based practices in corrections in Bartholomew county.
