Let's blow off some steam at The Red Zone, 746 Greenway Dr. (off U.S 31 behind Carpet One): Join us in blowing off some steam at The Red Zone, Columbus’ laser tag destination. Each Third Thursday of the month Columbus Young Professionals hosts drinks and networking at a local bar or restaurant. This is our most laid back event and is always a great time. Oh, and it's FREE. Like all our events Third Thursday is open to both members and non-members, so forward this email and invite everyone you know. This is our NEW monthly event created by CYP's Careers Committee. The Careers Committee's focus is to help develop the future leaders of Columbus by promoting leadership opportunities and providing networking and professional development opportunities. This monthly event will be held every Fourth Tuesday, noon-1.00pm at the Columbus Area Visitors Center. Each month will be focused on a different topic and hosted by a different community leader, including Mayor Kristen Brown.

This month...Networking–The Secret to Success

It’s not what you know, it’s who you know. Learn how to enhance your career by improving your networking abilities. Networking virtuoso, Valerie Chowning, Membership Director at the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, and CYP member will share tips for successful networking. Take advantage of this opportunity to practice your networking skills while meeting other professionals from the Columbus community. You don’t want to miss this professional development opportunity from CYP.
